1. How does TradeHuset differ from other Go-to-market companies?

2. What are the most common mistakes when a foreign company expands to Finland?

Many foreign companies try to create customer and partner connections in English. Using English is a logical choice because Finns has high proficiency. Finland ranks high globally (12th out of 123 countries/regions). Althoug Finns have a “Very High” proficiency, they prefer to be contacted by Finnish language – reflects trust and security which are essentials in the business relations. TradeHuset speaks Finnish as a mother tongue creating a trustful connection right from the beginning. 

Entering the Finnish market on you own, without a local GTM partner, is slightly hazardous for many reasons – “You never get a second chance to make a first impression”.

Definetly yes! You define first what kind of distributors you want have. After that TradeHuset creates a long-list and sharet it with you via a shared Excel file. The long-list narrows down to short-list by your preferences – now TradeHuset is ready to contact potential partners by tailored emails and telephone calls. Domestic calls are necessity because nowadays many Finns block up foreign calls fearing fraud attempts. TradeHuset creates longlist by utilizing local business directories, LinkedIn, Google, AI and own business networks and other contacts.

5. Does Tradehuset offer translation services for marketing materials?

We translate your marketing material and other communication into Finnish. We don’t use AI in the translation process to avoid generic result. Our translations are based on native languare skills in Finnish. We don’t only translate but also localize your material to fit the real Finnish environment. Fluent and correct language reflects quality and commitment. We want to provide this for your company – increasing the probability of your success in the Finnish market!

Foreign companies are allowed to bid although many procurement documents are published only in Finnish (or Finnish and Swedish), particularly for smaller national procurements. Finnish (and sometimes Swedish) proficiency may be essential because staff must communicate with residents and authorities – TradeHuset will gladly help your company to bid with the right languages!

TradeHuset’s pricing is moderate – we keep cost down by avoiding unnecessary expenses. Our consultant fees are based on an hourly/daily/monthly rate, hybrid fee or lump sum. Our services are flexible and secure – there is an option to quit when you wish without extra costs or any commitment period.
